Diese neue Rucksack-Kollektion wurde zum Mehrseillängenklettern entworfen. Der Wadi bietet ein ausgezeichnetes Gleichgewicht zwischen geringem Gewicht, Strapazierfähigkeit und Bewegungsfreiheit.

Sein Tragesystem bietet dank des verstärkten Rückenteils und der speziell entwickelten Schulterträger einen außergewöhnlichen Komfort. An der Oberseite befindet sich ein praktischer Karabiner, mit dem der Rucksack am Stand eingehängt werden kann (2kN Bruchlast). Die Hauling-Griffe sind so konzipiert und positioniert, dass der Rucksack problemlos eingehängt und nachgezogen werden kann.

Er wurde für ganztägigen Tragekomfort entwickelt und besitzt selbst für eine kurze Haulstrecke über die Crux ausreichend Robustheit. Der WADI besitzt alle perfekten Merkmale für ehrgeizige Projekte mit langen Zustiegen, komplexer Routenführung und schroffem Fels.

Really good climbing backpack

The fabric seems to be definitely durable and strong.
I put it under a little bit of rain and it looks like a little bit watter repellent, maybe it is just because it is new, but it is a good signal for me.
Confortable and compact, the back is more solid than others I had before.
I like the two little compartments it has for a bottle or other small things.

I miss a second ice axe holder and I wonder if a cover or a little Roll top would be too much just in case an unexpected rain. A small roll cover could maybe keep the easy access as good as it is now and make watter doesn´t go inside.

This is a simple pack, that is a great size for multipitches (provided you're keeping the rope out). the sling/biner to attach it on the belay is slick and a small improvement over "handmade" solutions. the opening is nice insofar as you can easily get stuff in and out, but when it rains you're out of luck - plan accordingly.
i've hauled it quite a bit (say 50-ish pitches) and it has survived well so far. it has no unnecessary features. the side pocket seemed superfluous until i realised how nice it is to put food in that you eat on belays.
the only real issue is for people who are short and have a slender built: the straps are too wide and the backpack is a little too long to climb in comfortably.
I think this could/should be addressed by offering two sizes.
